Towed Water Sports: The Wake Education Task Force at Smith Mountain Lake is educating the lake community about how to reduce the impact of boat wakes on docks, shorelines, and everyone who enjoys the lake for recreation and relaxation. Proper and safe boating behaviors and etiquette associated with boat wakes is essential to minimize unintended and hazardous consequences.
