Changes Coming to Smith Mountain Lake Aids to Navigation

The American Electric Power Aids to Navigation Technical Review Committee (TRC) is making some changes to the channel markers on the main channels of Smith Mountain Lake.  These improvements are intended to help keep SML safe.
TRC members include the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR), US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Smith Mountain Lake Association (SMLA), Smith Mountain Lake Marine Fire and Rescue, and the Tri-County Lakes Administrative Commission (TLAC).
